Wrestling your Shadow

Wrestling others for the “spiritual heavy weigh belt”
is like wrestling your shadow. To wrestle with your
shadow you have to get down on the dirt.

Once on top of your shadow, the shadow vanishes,
and you are left alone kicking up mud on yourself. In
other words, it’s you and only you, by your reactions
who proves yourself deluded.

The opponent can’t do nothing to destroy the image you’re
defending, you do that all by yourself. This is not rocket
science, so what’s stopping you from seeing it? Why do you
claw your way to a top that is not there by trying to pull
others down? Delusion is the only word that seems to fit.
