As long as you are unable to access the power of the Now, every emotional pain that you experience leaves behind a residue of pain that lives on in you.
You are not just a meaningless fragment in an alien universe, briefly suspended between life and death, allowed a few short-lived pleasures followed by pain and ultimate annihilation. Underneath your outer form, you are connected with something so vast, so immeasurable and sacred, that it cannot be spoken of - yet I am speaking of it now. I am speaking of it now not to give you something to believe in but to show you how you can know it for yourself.
Beyond the beauty of external forms, there is more here: something that cannot be named, something ineffable, some deep, inner, holy essence. Whenever and wherever there is beauty, this inner essence shines through somehow. It only reveals itself to you when you are present.
Death is a stripping away of all that is not you. The secret of life is to “die before you die” — and find that there is no death.

Teachings
Being aware of the present moment is a way of not being caught up in thoughts of the past and future.The present is the gateway to a heightened sense of peace. “Being in the now” brings about an awareness that is beyond the mind, an awareness which helps in transcending the ego. If you are present, you recognize yourself as the space of consciousness in which the thought or impulse arises, you don’t lose yourself in thought, you don’t become the impulse. Being present is being the space, rather than what happens.
“Pain-body” is the emotional component of ego; is created by the cumulation of suppressed emotions, the suffering of non-acceptance of what is.It distract people from their present experience of the world. It is the feeding of the human ego, that is thought to be the source of inner and outer conflict.
Love comes into existence when you know who you are in your essence and then recognize the “other” as yourself. It is the end of the delusion of separation, which is created by excessive reliance on thinking.
Our true “identity” is the underlying sense of I Am, which is consciousness itself. Awareness of Being is self-realization and true happiness.
We humans are very important, because we are here to enable the divine purpose of the universe to unfold.
We should use the mind as a tool, and not let the mind to use us.

A dialogue:
Accept what is.
I truly cannot. I’m agitated and angry about this.
Then accept what is.
Accept that I’m agitated and angry.
Accept that I cannot accept?
Yes. Bring acceptance into your nonacceptance. Bring surrender into
your nonsurrender.
Then see what happens.
~Tolle.
Among the many description of the ego that I have read, I like the one I have read from Tolle, the best:
ego := conditioned mind
Self = Consciousness = Now = I AM
When Consciousness, which is also ‘I’, uses the conditioned mind, that is… good.
When the conditioned mind becomes so overwhelming and all-consuming that NOW can only be seen through the filters of conditioned mind, that is… bad. IOW… recipe for pain.
Solid = stuck = frozen memory = the mind which is totally conditioned and blocked. It can not see now unless ‘broken’
Fluid = Flowing = ’still evolving’ = ’still open’ = ’still observing and changing’ = (Consciousness + conditioned mind)
SPACE = Consciousness, unconditioned mind

It’s pretty awesome having nutrition as my life. I always tell people when they ask me what kind of supplements to take. Start with the basics and get some protein as a body building supplement then if you want, try an EFA stack for weight loss. As always throw in a multivitamin.
